stereo microscope producing upright stereoscopic images. The instrument
is adjustable for interocular distances and the left eye piece tube has
an independent compensating adjustment. There are two parafocal pairs of
objectives mounted on a rotatable turrent. The microscope is focussed by
rack and pinion and the whole head can be raised on the pillar and locked
in position to accomodate large objects on the stage. The base is fitted
with two stage clips and a circular plate which is white on one side and

Topgem Binocular Stereo Microscope Model TG-410 : A robust,
low power microscope, with integral illumination. The binocular head has
a twin converging lens and prism system, giving upright deep focus images,
large field eye pieces. Objectives are mounted in the barrel nose piece
which is rotatable to give the required magnification. The interocular
distance can be adjusted and independent adjustment is provided for the
left eye piece. Focusing is by rack and pinion with stops at the upper
and lower limits of travel. The stand is cast alloy with a hard apoxy finish,
for ease of cleaning has two integral illuminators 21 W transmitted ligth
source below the plate in the base. A selector switch allows either or

Dissecting Microscope : A versatile instrument for fine
dissection work etc. The high eye point lens (either X10 or X20) is mounted
on a jointing arm allowing the whole stage area to be scanned. The wide
glass stage has two spring clips and a reversible sub stage mirror/opal
face illuminator. Focussing is by a rack and pinion mechanism and detachable
rests on either side of the stage provide a steadying support for hands
during fine dissection. All metal construction. Supplied complete with
X10 and X20 lenses in a wooden cabinet.

Cornex Dissecting Microscope : A robust traditional microscope
constructed from a solid block of wood. The sides are out away at a concenient
angle to form hand rests. A glass stage is provided, illuminated from underneath
by a mirror set at 45°. The lenses are carried on an arm which can
be swung across the stage plate so that objects at different positions
can be examined. The two lenses supplied enable magnification of X10 and
X20 to be obtained.

Travelling Microscope :
A heavy cast iron base fitted with levelling screws top machined over which
slides a metal carriage which can be clam ed at desired position. The stage
carries a vernier that travels over a stainless steel scale graduated in
mm 0 to 16.5cms. A Gunmetal pillar fixed to the stage has an embedded S.S.
Scale graduated 0 to l5cms and carries a vertical travelling carriage with
vernier. Horizontal stage for placing objects is fitted with milky plate.
The microscopic tube on vertical travelling carriage is focussed by rack
and pinion and has an achromatic objective, a ramsden eye piece lOx and
a cross line graticule. Vernier read- in .01 mm supplied in wooden case.
