Two wheels 150mm dia and 75mm dia made out of solid hard wood with flat bottom grooves. Supplied with a metal axle and a cord.

BENDING OF BEAM ASSEMBLE 1152
For determining young’s modulus for the material of a beam when supported at its extremities. Comprising of a chrome metal plated bar 1 meter long, resting on the knife-edges of 2 heavy table clamps, hanger with knife edge support to rest on the beam with micrometer or spherometer attachment and with electric contacts, but without weights.

PROJECTILE APPARATUS (Free Falling Body Apparatus) 1153
To illustrate that a body impelled horizontally will fall vertically at the same rate as a similar body allowed to fall freely. Comprises spring loaded L Section launcher with holes tor locating two 19mm dia steel ball which act as projectiles. Launcher is released by push button and projects one ball forwarded and allowing the other to fall freely. Mounted on wooden block, 180x60x30 mm which may be clamped to bench and has convenient storage pocket for the balls. Complete with 2 steel balls.

300mm long, metal reinforced at ends having three low friction ball bearing wheels filled with spring loaded impulse rod having three elastic positions to provide different impulses. The rod is triggered by a release pin.

PENDULUMS OF STAND 1162
Three 2.5cm Pendulum bobs of wood, iron and steel are suspended from a common hanger mounted on a vertical rod screwed to a heavy metal stand. A meter scale and a sliding index can control the length of the first cord. Zero of meter stick is placed at the bottom and when the center of the pendulum is placed opposite this point, the length of the pendulum is read directly from the position of the slider.
